Colleen Brandon-Ortega-Short is a main character in the first, second, third and fourth seasons of the CBS sitcom Life in Pieces. She is the wife of Matt Short, sister-in-law of Greg and Jen Short, and Heather Hughes; daughter-in law of Joan and John Short; Aunt of Tyler, Sam, Sophia Hughes & Lark and Talia Short. Colleen was the Human Resources manager at an air plane food company. It is there she met her future husband Matt Short.
